We have noticed a large increase of paper prescription requests coming through to our reception team. Online ordering through NHS app or Patient Access is the quickest way for your prescription request to get to the GP for signing – this is because it skips a step in processing and is sent directly to the GP’s clinical inbox. For this reason, we encourage any patients able to order online or via the app to do so. This allows for patients not able to order online to have their paper request actioned in an appropriate time frame.
